Fall Transitions with JCPenney
Hi again!
We are going through the last couple weeks of summer before Fall officially starts! And actually with all this rain, we’ve gotten lower temps which has gotten me excited for the upcoming season! I love the cold, but the Texas heat tends to drag on ... this is why I always look for good transition pieces or “light” fall items, meaning they look like fall but don’t feel like it lol ... light sweaters and jackets, cute dresses, booties, etc ... this are all things I recently found at JCPenney, and put together 4 different outfits for different moods and activities.
1.- Cute for any occasion: When I saw this dress at first, I thought it was still a bit summer-like. But I knew pairing it with these really cute booties and maybe layering it would let me wear it all the way into fall (actual fall when it gets cooler). White boots are a major trend right now, but if you're not a fan of actual white then these light gray ones will go with anything!
2.- The fun day look:
Whether it’s going out to lunch, shopping, or hanging with friends, this is something I put together often: Jeans, T-shirt and booties (same as with the dress). I honestly quickly fell for this retro Jetsons T! And again with the same denim jacket! Which if you ask me is one of the best investments you can make for a year round piece. - tip if I buy a jacket for fall/winter I always size up so I can eventually wear a warmer sweater under it -
3.- Chic and Comfy:
Have you ever seen how Olivia Palermo looks so chic yet she never looks in pain? I feel we all have to have a good outfit that makes us look dressed up but still keep us comfortable. This is when a good pair of black jeans comes in handy, these are classic straight leg Levi’s and they are timeless. Also let me talk about the sweater! Perfect for not too cold days, with the perfect detail on the back ... or front! This sweater can be worn both ways, like I did or with the open at the front with a top or bralette underneath. The second is probably better for when it gets cold. Also another super classic and chic choice of footwear are slippers/mules, Definitely a must! Plus don't think you can beat the $17 price tag!
4.- The Athletic girl:
As much as I would want to be all dressed up all the time, I love working out and do it a lot! Which means a good workout outfit is always needed, one of my go to brands is Nike and thankfully JCPenney always has a great selection. Black leggings are a year round friend but I loved the high waisted style that keeps everything in its place lol, I also went for a long sleeve top, this way I can either wear it on its own or if it’s cooling down as a light sweater over my workout top... and yep we got caught in the rain again and Bhaaloo LOVED it!

Hola! Espero hayan tenido bonito fin! Pues aquí ya estamos viviendo las últimas semanas de verano! Y recientemente con tanta lluvia (les juro no ha parado en 2 semanas!) hemos tenido temperaturas un poquito más frescas, lo cual me encanta! Ya saben que amo el frío y Texas como que se emociona con su calor y verano jaja. Lo bueno es que aproveche para buscar algunos looks de transición en JCPenny, ya saben atuendos que parezcan más de otoño pero que todavía no se sientas jaja. Bueno pude armar 4 looks para diferentes días, personalidades y actividades. 1.- Femenina para cualquier ocasión: la verdad al principio pensé que este vestido estaba un poco muy de verano pero luego pensé más en usarlo con botines claros (que ya saben las botas y botines blancos está súper de moda ahorita!) y una chamarra o algo, Perfecto por si hace calor en el día pero en la noche baja la temperatura (típico en Mexico no?) Bueno si no son tan fans de las botas blancas estas gris claro estilo gamuza van con todo y están súper cómodo as! 2.- Alegre y divertido: Este es algo que uso muy seguido, buenos jeans, una playera y botines, a veces se convierte en mi uniforme de otoño jaja pero me fascinó esta playera retro de los Supersónicos (the jetsons) y en mi opinión una de las mejores inversiones que podemos tener en nuestro closet es una chamarra de mezclilla, se pueden usar todo el año y no pasan de moda! Aunque esta de Levi’s me la compre una talla más grande para poder usar un suéter abajo ya que haga más frío (bien tip cuando compran chamarras de invierno) 3.- Clásica, cómoda y elegante: Han visto como Olivia Palermo siempre anda súper elegante pero al mismo tiempo se ve súper cómoda? Pues si hoy en día ya no tienes que sufrir para verte clásica. Un buen pantalón negro, puede ser de mezclilla como este clásico de Levi’s será tu aliado para un look casual pero vestidor, yo lo acompañe con este suéter que me encanta! Porque tiene dos usos, así como yo abierto de la espalda o de frente con una blusa abajo. Otro artículo que está súper de moda y en mi opinión da ese aspecto de estar súper arreglada aunque no traigamos tacones son los slippers! No tienen que ser Gucci o de marca estos cuestan $17 (usd) y se ven igual de clásicos! 4.- Dia activo: Bueno ya me conocen! Aunque me encantaría esta perfecta y arreglada todo el tiempo saben que soy hiperactiva y amo hacer ejercicio entre eso y sacar a pasear a Bhaaloo siempre ando en busca de un buen atuendo deportivo. De mis marcas favoritas es Nike y en JCPenny siempre tienen una súper selección! Pants negros son un Mega aliado para el ejercicio durante todo el año pero me encanta que estos son a la cintura con la banda ancha, lo cual mantiene todo en su lugar y no te tienes que andar acomodando jaja (a todas nos ha pasado!) y encontré esta blusa corta pero de manga larga, me gusto para caminar ya que refresque un poco más y si no como suéter encima de mi top de ejerció ya que haga más frío. Y si no alcanzo la lluvia y ya saben Bhaaloo feliz! En fin si andan buscan piezas de transición, sus básicos de diario, o alguna tendencia nueva, JCPenny tiene mucho de donde escoger a súper buen precio más rebajas!
