Stary Night: Little Black Dress

Hello again loves!

it's never too early to start looking for holiday party dresses, it may just be October but from here to New Year's it's like someone punches the fast forward button. For us having our family living out of town it means that we most likely have to see everyone before the important dates. At the same time not all events are cotail attaire but you still want to look cute! well this is where this little number from ChicWish comes in! On their website photo it actually looks like a top and is listed as a Tunic but i'm 5'4 and it works perfectly as a dress, and a very comfortable one for that matter, oh and it just went on sale! It might even be a great halloween party dress or base for a chic costume idea.

I am also very excited to be able to wear my Over the knee (OTK) boots again! Texas is currently crazy! these past two days the weather was perfect, a cold front came in but it only lasted two days! Two days!! and back to 80 degrees! I mean come on Texas! Last year I got my first pair of OTK boots from Stuart Weitzman and I truly believe they are worth the splurdge, this year I got a much needed black pair, they run true to size (I always get size 8 in boots, and this is no exception) and this model is the Highcamp, the heel is so comfortable! it is a bit chunkier than the classic Highland. (I linked a few other options if you don't want to spend too much)

But oh well, we're actually heading somewhere cold in about a month! and I can't wait to share! Mainly beacause i'm trying to figure out our schedule, it's going to be a crazy rest of the year :)

Creo que nunca es demasiado temprano para buscar vestidos y looks para las fiestas, o bueno nunca es mala idea tener un buen vestido negro que nos sirva para todo, especialmente uno tan comodo como este!

Para nosotros como muchos saben, nuestras familias viven fuera de San Antonio y en ciudades diferentes. Mi familia es de la Ciudad de Mexico y la familia de Arturo es de Tamaulipas (yo lo molesto y le digo que es norteñito y el me molesta y me dice chilanga) en fin, todavia no sabemos que vamos hacer para navidad pero lo mas seguro es que nos toque en alguno de los dos lugares o hasta en san antonio, entonces tendremos varios eventos con que cumplir, por eso me encanta ya tener un par de opciones para lo que se ofrezca - La otra es que ya por fin es temporada de botas!! aunque por aca el clima esta loco! no exagero loco! tuvimos dos dias que amanecio a menos de 15 grados y una maxima de 20 y despues de esos dos dias BOOM 32 grados otra vez! Pero bueno estoy super emocionada de que en un mes (mas o menos) nos vamos a un lugar frio! ya nada mas estamos terminando de confirmar todo y les cuento! Para las que preguntan de este vestido, en la pagina de Chicwish parece blusa y la descripcion dice tunica, pero yo mido 1.64cm y me quedo perfecto de vestido! AH y esta super rebajado y ya saben ChicWish tiene envios a todo el mundo!
