Fall Trend: Midi Skirts
Hello again! I’m the first one to accept when I’m wrong … well not really haha but I do try to be honest on here with you. I personally hated midi skirts for so long, probably because I wore them back in the early 2000’s and let’s just say those awkward tween years were not always good … in terms of style. And also, because for so long these skirts were associated with a librarian fashion. I honestly loved how they looked in the magazines but kept thinking I truly needed to pull off this look to perfection to make it look good.
Oh! how wrong I was! I now know these skirts are easier to wear, and can and should be worn by all! Is all about a good pairing but it’s not that hard. I decided to go for a polished bootie and a tighter top to contrast the bottom but it can totally be worn with a more casual shoe and top. I’ve added a few pics pf more option for these skirts. I actually wore this look to the Chanel Le Rouge pop up opening in Mexico City, and I love it! (fun trick fact, when I’m traveling alone and heading to night time events I sometimes shoot my looks in advance … this way I guarantee having a good pic) The one I’m wearing is from ZARA (HERE) but I’ve also linked more options available for sale. Soy la primera en aceptar que me equivoque, Bueno no exactamente jajá, pero en cuando al blog y tendencias siempre soy honesta. En lo personal odiaba las faldas a media pierna (midi) creo que les agarre odio a las pobres porque las medio use en los 2000’es y, Bueno digamos que esos años no era la niña mas fashion jajá, casi nadie lo es en esa edad rara. O también puede ser que era porque las asociaban como la típica señora de biblioteca en las películas gringas. En los últimos meses que se han puesto más y más de moda, me encantaban como se veían, pero sentía que eran de esos looks que si no lo armaba perfecto no se iba a ver bien, pues no es cierto. La verdad es que son bastante fáciles de usar y a todas se les ven bien. Es cosa de como las usas que es el look que se te antoja. Esto me lo puse para la inauguración del pop up de Chanel Le rouge en México, decidí por algo un poco más arreglado, pero también me gustó mucho como se ven con tops y zapatos mas casuales, aquí les dejo varias opciones. La falda que traigo es de ZARA (AQUI) pero abajo les dejo varias opciones a la venta. ¿Y ustedes que opinan? ¿Les gustan o todavía no tanto?
