Ocho: Downtown – river walk Cuban/Latin – I like to go for brunch or lunch I wouldn’t recommend dinner it’s more of a bar and a pretty cool one

Max’s Wine Dive: Quarry Village - brunch is their best menu! Fried chicken and champagne, truffled Max & cheese, or chicken and waffles! Also fun as bar. (but when it comes to food brunch is their speciality)

Cured: Historic Pearl - brunch/lunch/dinner – but closed Sundays (not for picky eaters)

The Boiler House: Historic Pearl: I actually recommend their brunch menu more than any other time of the day - Comfort food.

Bird Bakery: (Broadway) - Best cupcakes in town and obsessed with their turkey sandwich

Perry’s: The Shops at La Cantera - lunch/dinner- Classic Steakhouse, try their Mac and cheese

Bakery Lorraine: Historic Pearl - All day! Coffee, desserts and bistro, don’t be surprised if the place is packed! it is very good and everyone knows that. especially during the weekends (worth it)

Whiskey Cake: The Shops at La Cantera - pretty cool place with all natural ingredients.

Barbaro: Pizza - one of the best Pizzas in town, the place is rustic so be prepared for that (its not shiny new but so good)

Supper: At Hotel Emma: Feeling a bit more fancy? Supper is the top restaurant (in my opinion) for fine cuisine.

Southerleigh: Historic Pearl - good comfort food, with in house brewed beer - Love their corn bread!

Blue Box: Historic Pearl - same area as restaurants so you can do dinner somewhere and drinks there.

Ocho – Havana hotel: Downtown – the place is pretty cool even at night.

​Paramour: San Antonio's top rooftop bar, also open early for coffee and pastries.

Esquire Tavern: Downtown - Riverwalk, not much for a whole meal but great appetizers plus the place is originally from 1933 - Oldest Bar on the Riverwalk

The Brooklynite: Downtown - Great cocktails, currently one of the best bars in town.

The Shops at La Cantera: Great shopping and food – Outdoor mall – has most and the best stores

Northstar Mall: Indoor (has a few stores La cantera doesn’t like Saks)

San Marcos Outlets: Not in San Antonio, but if you're a hard-core shopper this is the place to go, about a 40min drive from SA

Camilla Crown: One of my favorite Boutiques (women's clothing only - sorry guys) on 1604 access road - Plus named best boutique in town for 2015

Botanical gardens: easy day for pictures and nature lovers

The Alamo: history, (the visit is pretty quick so its great to do the whole downtown and riverwalk visit on the same day)

SAMA: San Antonio Museum of Art – great exhibits for art fans

McNay Art Museum: the place its self is amazing

Riverwalk: day and night great for eating shopping or just walking (wear comfortable shoes)

Missions: Historic - whole day activity

Top Golf: Both for golf players and those of us that just want a good time, (food, drinks) be sure you're prepared to wait, it si still pretty new and extremely popular especially weekend nights but totaly worth it!!
