My Beauty (Travel) Favorites

Hello again loves!! 

Well we're slowly getting back to reality after an amazing trip with my family, and I realized; it's been a while since a did a Beauty post on what my current favorite products are. Let's face it, we rotate our beauty products out quicker than we change clothes. but this time around while packing for a somewhat long trip, I noticed that I had a few that I haven't changed out in months (even years) and others that i'm currently loving so much that I just had to take with me on our trip! so here they are:

Hola queridos! pues ya poco a poco vamos regresando a la realidad despues de un viaje increible con la familia! pero mientras, me di cuenta que tiene mucho tiempo que no les comparto mis productos favoritos de belleza, y ahora con el viaje note que tenia varios productos que tengo años usando y otros que me estan gustando tanto que no los pude dejar, y se fueron de viaje conmigo, entocnes aqui les van:

Hair/Cabello:

1.- Pantene Shampoo & Conditioner  - Beautiful lengths: It's no secret i've been struggling to grow my hair out, but it's slowly getting there and this combo is really helping it stay hydrated and avoid breakage.

Ya saben que tengo rato tratando de que me crezca el pelo y lo mejor que he encontrado es matenerlo hidratado para evitar que se troce o las puntas abiertas y este definitivamente me esta ayudando.

2.- Pantene ProV Ultimate 10  BB cream: Yep a BB cream for your hair. I've been using this for a couple months now, I apply it on damp/wet hair to help detangle my hair before burshing it out, but it also protects my hair against the heat, and keeps it nourished!

Es un tipo de mascarilla que no se enjuaga pero ayuda a desenredar, hidratar y porteger el cabello, se los super recomiendo.

3.- OGX Argan Oil: One of the best oils I've ever used! perfect for damaged hair. Although I actually forgot it this trip, and I definitely missed it!

uno de los mejores aceites de que he usado! ideal para el cabello dañado. Aunque les confieso que se me olvido este viaje, y si senti que me hizo falta.

4.- T3 Micro 1.25' Curling Iron: When I first discovered T3 micro I wasn't sure if it was worth the price - $185  but that is for your first convertible base, you can later buy separate barrels - but the minute I tried I was sold! completely worth it and have been using it non stop ever since my favorite size is the one and a quarter inch barrel, perfect in between size. But if your on a budget I recommend the conair ceramic curler also in the same size (used this for years before my T3)

Tenaza T3 de 1,25 pulgadas: Cuando recien salio la marca T3 no estaba segura si en realidad valia la pena el precio ($160 por la base convertible con la tenaza de 1.25" pero despues puedes comprar adaptadores de diferentes tamaños para tener 5 tenazas en uno. Pero si por el momento no quieren gastar les recomiendo la tenaza de ceramica de conair igual de 1.25.

5.- Garnier Fructis 1 minute repair mask: Ok, this I am obsessed with! it can be used as a reapir mask, conditioner or leave in mask. I use the papaya one for damage/repair and it smells amazing! it comes in a small tub so in case you don't like it, you don't have to deal with a giant tub.

De mis productos favoritos de todo la vida! lo descubri hace como dos meses. Yo uso el de papaya para reparar daño, se puede usar como mascarilla, acondicionador, o tratamiento sin enjuage.

Skincare/ Piel:

1.- Dior Capture Totale DreamSkin: I used this years ago and for some reason forgot about it -probably beacuse I was lazy and never committed to any skin care routine #Honest but they recently improved the formula, and I also decided to tone down my makeup use for everyday. I use this as a foundation (instead of makeup) it has no tint but it does have a bit of shine and it creates the perfect base for blush/bronzer/powder.

Hace unos años use esta crema y luego se me olvido, seguro porque siempre he sido malisima para tener un regimen de belleza. Pero hace poco la redescubri y justo cuando decidi no usar tanto maquillaje para mi vida diaria. Lo uso como base en lugar de maquillaje. No tiene color pero si empareja la piel y tiene un mini brillo, lo hace la base perfecta para mi polvo.

2.- Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roller: easy, light, and perfect for us (panda) girls - you know dark circles - it is not a full coverage but it does help brighten up.

facil de usar y ligero para uso diario, no es un corrector pero ayuda a aclara un poco las ojeras.

3.- Garnier Micellar Water: Best Makeup remover EVAAA! I use the blue one since it removes waterproof makeup - I also have the towlettes for when I travel. Keep them in my bag and remove my makeup during long flights or drives.

El mejor desmaquillante! Yo uso el azul que es para quitar todo maquillaje incluyendo a prueba de agua, y tambien uso la version en toalla para vuelos y carreteras largas.

4.- La Roche Posay effeclar microexfoliating toner: Best skin product I have ever used! I actually came across this by chance on our honeymoon, when I forgot my toner. We were in Madrid and found this in a drug store! total game changer, I use it everyday. Good for acne prone skin or not. I was told that is was for oily skin, but I have more of a combination skin and love it. Since it does have alcohol if you have very dry skin I wouldn't use it everyday.

De los mejores productos que he usado! lo descubri de pura suerte cuando en Madrid se me olvido mi astringente! es lo mejor en especial si tienen piel grasa. Me dijeron que como tiene alcohol no es ideal para piel muy reseca. Mi piel es mixta y yo lo uso diario. pero si tienen piel un poco mas seca lo recomiendo a lo mejor NO tan seguido.

Makeup/Maquillaje: I really don't think I can share everything in my makeup bag -maybe on youtube?? ;) - But I'm going to share the ones I can't live without and used the most on our trip.

Creo que no les puedo compartir TOODOO mi makeup pero les voy a pasar los que me son mas utililes mientras viajo y vida diaria

1.- Mac Studio Finish Concealer: I can't live without concealer! whether it's in my genes (which it is) or lack of sleep, I could give a panda a run for their money in a dark circle competition. I use a peachy shades (NW25) because of my skin tone.

De los mejores correctores que he probado! lo uso en tono naranja, porque ese es el que me cubre a mi. Si sufren de sindrome de panda como yo, se los recomiendo!

2.- Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Flawless Wear Concealer: Another Concealer?? why yes! I actually use this in the Light medium/warm shade, after my MAC concealer. The MAC peach tones covers and then the Estee Lauder brightens. p.s when doing full makeup looks I actually apply a third concealer in powder ... but I don't use it everyday.

Otro Corrector?? pues si! asi de grave tengo las ojeras jaja no pero el motivo por el cual uso dos es porque uso este Estee Lauder en un tono mas claro - Light Medium- entonces el de MAC cubre las ojeras y el de EL aclara y da luz, para que se vea mas pareja la piel.

3.- Guerlain Terracotta Original Bronzing Powder: I always wear bronzer! I rarely use blush because I love a more natural sun kissed tone on my skin than looking pink (again just because of my skin tone) BUT I actually use the lightest shade of the Guelain Terracota collection 00 Clair Blondes. Because it gives me the right amount of warmth to my face and keeps it natural.

No puedo vivir sin mi polvo bronceador! La verdad que para vida diaria y mi tono de piel lo prefiero a un rubor. La cosa es que uso el bronceador como rubor! uso el tono mas claro de la linea Terracota de Guerlain 00 Clair/Blondes y es el tono perfecto para lucir un poco de color sin parecer payaso (en mi caso)

4.- Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre:  To be honest my favorite is the loose powder version but it can be hard to travel with. I use it to even out my skin after my primer or foundation, also after concealer. If the loose powder is not convienient for you I recommend the Compact Foundation which I carry in my purse for touch ups, except if I want the flawless look of the universelle I use a brush to apply instead of the sponge (I use the Sponge for touch ups)

EL mejor polvo que he probado! puede ser un poco caro, pero a mi me dura casi un año!  Lo aplico con brocha despues de mi base o crema y despues del corector para emparejar los tonos y mi piel. Pero se que a veces para viajar no es lo mas practico. En ese caso les recomiendo el Polvo Compacto de chanel (que de hecho yo lo trigo en mi bolsa por si acaso) nada mas que si lo quieren usar como el Universelle usenlo con brocha y no con la esponja. La esponja yo solo la uso para retocar.

5.- Chanel Le Volume Mascara: I always carry two mascaras with me when I travel, this is my all time favorite and use it everyday, I honestly love the result it is never clumpy but instead makes my lashes look long, curled and flared. I do not however like the waterproof version of this.

Siempre que viajo llevo dos rimels, uno el Chanel Le Volume en negro, que es mi favorito y que uso diario! me encanta como me deja las pestañas, cero grumos y de hecho no me las tengo ni que enchinar.

Trish McEvoy Lash Curling Mascara: To be honest I still like the Chanel results a lot more, but the reason why I always travel with the trish mcevoy mascara is because it is a tubing mascara, which means it can only be removed with warm/hot water (never too hot) which makes it super easy to remove during flights. it comes right off and doesn't smudge, it also never runs or smudges while you sleep, so if you choose not to remove it you'll still look perfect. I've also been a bit lazy and removed it in the shower. 

Les confieso que aunque amo el look final del rimel de Chanel, trato de siempre llevarme este rimel de Trish McEvoy, porque es lo que se llaman tubing, que solo se pueden quitar con agua caliente (bueno mas bien tibia, no se tienen que quemar la cara) pero no se corre con nada y para quitar sale como en una sola pieza. Asi que hasta cuando te los estas quitando no se corre como un rimel normal. Ideal para vuelos largos, o si se te olvida el desmaquillante, o si quieres quitartelo facil durante un vuelo solo te lavas la cara.

5.- Anastasia Brow Definer: in Dark Brown for me. My favorite and go-to for years now! easy to use, all in one piece and the color is perfect on me. I don't use a lot but I still like the thicker pencil of the definer but if you like something thin they also have the Brow Wiz. Same color palette just a very fine tip.

Mi maquillaje de cejas favorito! lo llevo usando años y no lo cambio por nada, a mi me funciona el tono Dark Brown (un dia probe el ebony porque mis cejas si son oscuras y NO error parecia un muppet casado con frida Khalo ... a menos de que su pelo y su cejas sean negras (pero de verdad negras) usen el Dark Brown o mas claro. a mi me gusta el grosor de este lapiz pero si prefieren algo mas delgado tambien tiene el brow wiz en los mismos tonos.
