Tis’ The Season+Snow in Texas!
Hello again loves!
It’s December! Which basically means it’s officially Christmas/Holidays! And no matter what your holiday may be, it’s a fun season for all! I know I don’t usually get too personal on my blog, mostly try to keep it light and fun! I like having a positive and easy place to get away from all the madness and negativity going around in the world. To follow up on December’s to-do list, we got our Christmas tree! And I admit we went a bit overboard with it! #Guilty this is just our second Christmas since Arturo and I got married, and I like to joke that this is what happens when you let two kids go Christmas shopping on their own ... we both love tree shopping as a result we’ve ended up with a tree we have no idea how we’re going to decorate 🙈 I do confess I’m a bit more of a grinch when it comes to the holidays, or at least that’s what Arturo calls me ... but it’s not what you think, I just can’t handle Christmas carols/songs for that long, and well Arturo is like Santa’s long lost elf! He comes home from work and puts his Christmas playlist all over the house! I think we balance out the holiday spirit pretty well though.
I put together this look this weekend for lunch and I absolutely love it! And this dress is on sale for $49! It’s no secret I love tunics and short dresses, but it is the first time this year I’m able to wear my baker boy cap! (Which are a major must this season!) I love hats but I just hadn’t really worn it, don’t know why. And in an unexpected turn of events ... while I was working on this post, I thought the UPS guy was here so I went to the door and no! it was SNOWING in San Antonio! My first thought was "I have to hurry this only lasts 5 min!" but no! we got a full on snow fall! I'm an east coast baby, so i'm not exaggerating! i've seen my fair share of the white stuff and this was amazing (we got about 3 inches, which for SA or most of Texas is a lot) and I have to say, I know kids were very excited to see Snow but I don't think anyone was more excited than Bhaaloo! He ran, rolled in the snow, ate it and through a fit when we tried to bring him back in ... yep just like a child. And Arturo was actually giving me a hard time about not putting away my ski gear ... who's laughing now - que evil laugh - MUAAHAHAHA - So this post has a mix of photos, the featured look and some snowy shots of Bhaaloo!

¡Pues ahora si ya es diciembre! ¡Lo que significa que ya prácticamente es navidad y año nuevo y 2018! jajá Yo sé que normalmente no me pongo muy personal por aquí, me gusta mantener este espacio light y positivo, ya tenemos que suficientes cosas malas pasando en el mundo. ¡Pero si les cuento que ya compramos nuestro arbolito de Navidad! y si confieso que a lo mejor se nos pasó un poquito la mano! Pero la verdad es que los dos Arturo y yo nos encanta la Navidad y pues esto es lo que pasa cuando dos personas se emocionan al mismo tiempo jajá ahora falta decorarlo. Pero también tengo que admitir que soy un Grinch con la navidad, bueno eso es lo que dice Arturo! Me encanta la navidad, pero a poco no llega un punto que un villancico mas y te vuelves loca! y pues Arturo los ama! ¡si llego a la casa antes que él, entro a “PERO MIRA COMO BEBEN LOS PECES EN EL RIOOOOO” Es como el duende perdido de Santa Claus! creo que nos balanceamos bien un duende y un grinch. Me puse este look para ir a comer el fin de semana, por fin ya se siente como otoño, y por primera vez me pude estrenar mi gorra (súper tendencia esta temporada) me encanto desde que la compre, pero no sé porque no me había animado a usarla, pero ahora con el frio fue la oportunidad perfecta. ¡Y sorpresa! Muy chistoso en lo que estaba terminando este post, escuché el camión del correo y pensé que me habían dejado algo, y cuando voy a la puerta me doy cuenta que estaba nevando! (4:30pm) Mi primera reacción fue salir corriendo con Bhaaloo porque las únicas veces que nieva en San Antonio caen tres copitos de nieve y en 5 minutos ya se acabó. ¡Pero no! esto si fue una nevada en serio! (se lo juro me ha tocado experiencias en nieve entonces no es exageración) Nosotros vivimos un poquito más al norte de San Antonio entonces nos tocó un poco más que en otras partes de la ciudad. Y la verdad creo que nadie disfruto la noche tanto como Bhaaloo! corrió, se revolcó, se comió la nieve y luego nos hizo berrinche porque no se quería meter a la casa! Y Arturo ya me estaba regañando que no había guardado mi ropa de Ski jaja ... bueno entonces en lugar de solo fotos de este look les quiero compartir un par de anoche con Bhaaloo!
