This past Saturday was my bridal shower (hosted by my mom) and for the first time in this whole wedding ordeal I finally fealt like a bride. For some reason this planning months have been so surreal, I know i'm planning my wedding, and yes, I am stressed but for some reason it hadn't really sunk in that I am actually getting MARRIED!! (in one month to be precise) Also this is the first time I have worn white to any of my bridal events. Many will tell you, you have to wear white for these events but don't be afraid to break the rules. This is the perfect time to buy yourself a nice selection of cute dresses and outfits for the future. I feel that having a at least 5 white dresses hanging in your closet after the wedding will limit you to where to wear them to.

 

It's no secret that my favorite meal of the day is Brunch, I mean when, other than brunch do you get to eat eggs, fruit, and maybe fried chiken with champagne (MIMOSAS!!)

So this dress ended up being a perfect little number for an early spring brunch in Mexico City (which if you've never been, it has the most amazing weather, its never freazing and never burning hot)

Este sabado pasado fue mi despedida de soltera (organizada por mi mama) y por primera vez en todo este proceso de planeación de boda, me senti como la novia. De verdad que por alguna razón, sabia que he estado planeando mi boda pero al mismo tiempo, no me la creo que me voy a casar! (en un mes para ser exactos) Y tambien, aunque no lo creen esta fue la primera vez que me he vestido de blanco para alguno de mis eventos. Muchos te diran que eres la novia, que debes usar blanco durante tus despedidas, pedida, civil, etc... pero para mi este fue el momento ideal para aprovechar y comprarme una seleccion bonita de vestidos y looks que me van a servir en el futuro. Que chiste tiene tener la mitad de nuestro closet lleno de vestidos blancos, siento que eso solo nos va a limitar a donde y cuando podemos usarlos. 

 

No es ningun secreto que de mis comida y eventos favoritos, es un Brunch, digo en quo otro momento es aceptable comer huevos, fruta, hasta pollo frito con Mimosas! lo cual me dio el esenario perfecto para este vestido. Brunch primaveral en Mexico (para los que no conocen la ciudad de mexico, tiene el clima perfecto! nunca es demasado frio ni caliente)
