I know we've all been dreading for spring and warmer weather, but then again living in Texas you know that as soon as summer and scorching temperatures hit us there's no going back for a few months. So getting a cloudy day just like today is actually a blessing and a good day to wear are cozy sweaters before sending them off to hibernate.
Army-Green pants are a must this spring, their color may not be that appealing but they actually go well with most colors. I would have never thought of these pants with a blush/pink sweater, I unknowingly put both pieces together on my bed and sort of loved how they looked side by side.
I love pairing this blush color with gold accessories, and even more so with these pants, the green can be very dark and maybe dull, and for me gold gives it just the right amount of pop. I have become addicted to Quay Australia sunglasses. There are just so many amazing styles that I can't get enough! I WANT THEM ALL (breathe) - These are called "Invaders" Their styles tend to sell out pretty fast so if you see some you like don't think about it too long or they'll be gone.
Both top and bottoms are from GAP, I actually found this sweater in the sale rack. Gotta love GAP when they're getting rid of their fall/winter stuff they don't hold back. its like 50% off plus another 40% plus another something. The jeans are part of the new collection and even if army-green is not your thing, these guys come in probably 15 colors, they're skinny but with the right amount of stretch to them (so it is possible to sit comfortably even for lunch (; )
One of the best investments you can make when it comes to wardrobe pieces are a good pair of designer stilettos, sure they're not for walking around but they'll get you out of any trouble whether you're just going out to dinner in a pair of jeans or to a cocktail party in a killer dress. You can never go wrong with a nude or black pair of these babies.
